So last week, Mick Mulvaney held a press briefing where he proclaimed that the White House didn’t have an impeachment “war room” because only guilty people have “war rooms”:

“Some of you have criticized us for having a war room — okay? — which we don’t, by the way. You don’t have a war room when you haven’t done anything wrong. Clinton certainly had a war room. I think Nixon did. But they actually did something wrong. We didn’t. So we don’t have a war room.”

A week later, guess what? Axios uncovered a daily “messaging strategy” meeting at the White House. Apparently, Republicans are annoyed that they are not getting “guidance” from the White House. This is exacerbated by the reality that nobody has a fucking clue what Tangerine will say next. The White House didn’t respond to requests for comment.
